Shimano Sydney 1000 40th Anniversary Canterbury Track Carnival (UCI).
My name is David Dight, President of DHBC. In association with AusCycling we are running our XMAS track carnival again this year at our famous local velodrome in Tempe, NSW.
This is a national UCI sanctioned event and this year we're hosting the event for AusCycling. We're hoping to attract local, state, interstate and international riders.
The event is open to all riders with Full Race Membership with AusCycling or a UCI license. Racing will run across all track grades, Junior, Elite and Masters, both men's and women's.

For racers it's an exciting day and night under lights, with a wide variety of events including sprints, keirins, points racing, omniums and wheel races

For spectators apart from the superb racing, there'll be music, food trucks, entertainment, craft beer, stalls and a canteen. Paul ("Crafty") Craft will be our MC.

There's an enormous amount of enthusiasm for the event here at Dulwich Hill, and not just because it's great to be racing after a three year COVID break. This event is especially significant as it commemorates the 40th anniversary of our velodrome's opening in 1982.
I've attached a draft program as well as some of our promotional material and a few historical images of the event.. DHBC runs this event as a fundraiser. Money raised here goes towards our junior / senior track program, our road programs and our assisted (tandem, visually impaired riders) riding program.
