Monday
Merrylands Velodrome training night is now on Monday 7pm, parents and kids welcome, have a try.
If constantly raining we will call it off by 6pm that night on Facebook but a little bit of rain won't hurt you. All welcome, hope to see you there.
Tuesday
6:45am – Parramatta Park Laps (Location - pick up groups at top of Parramatta park hill, Pace/Distance -self determined) finish 8.15 for coffee.
6:30am Dream Loop (Location – Cow Sculptures at Cnr Sunny Holt Rd & Stanhope Parkway, Pace/Distance - >30KM/H, 48KM, coffee at Rouse Hill.
Thursday

Druitt Loop/Universe
6:10am –Steady Group (Location – The Junction Car Park, Cnr James Ruse Drive and Windsor Road, Pace/Distance 26-28KM/H, 48KM)
6:20am Medium Group (Location – The Junction Car Park, Cnr James Ruse Drive and Windsor Road, Pace/Distance 28-30KM/H, 48KM)
6:30am Fast Group (Location – Pet Barn Car Park, 561 - 565 Church Street, Pace/Distance >30KM/H, 48KM), all finish in Parramatta for coffee.
September 10 is the John Beatty handicap & our Parramatta Club Championships. and also the last road race for the season.
Racing will go on rain or shine, we’ll draw the line at hail or cyclone though.
Come along & joint the fun and be one of our age champions, even if you don’t will a major prize. For age champions there will be prizes & recognition later!!!
If you have a race licence it is easy just be there.
If you don’t have a race licence, you can get a 1 day Event Licence ($35) or 7 Day event licence ($60) https://www.auscycling.org.au/membership/other/event-licences Note: the period commences from the date of purchase, so get it on Friday 9 September
As always, the race will be at Oakville starting at 2pm, so get there early to warm up!
The race will be a handicap of 7 laps
The prize pool includes the John Beatty trophy for the winner as well as $250
Prizes will be for the first 6 places
The first 3 women home will also be in the money, $100 for first
Drinks at the end
• Races will commence at 2:00PM with the start and finish at Oakville Public School on Ogden Road.
• This course utilises only Left turns to ensure safety for both participants and motorists and to minimise any inconvenience.
• The course used for racing is a 7.1km circuit starting and finishing at Oakville Public School in Ogden Rd, Hanckel Road, Old Pitt Town Road, Saunders Road and Smith Road turning back onto Ogden Road.
• All racing will be conducted with the approval of the Hawkesbury City Council, NSW Police Service Hawkesbury Command and sanctioned by the Cycling NSW, AusCycling, and the International Cycling Union.
Sunday Group Training Ride
Meet at 6:45 AM, at the Torrs Street Commuter Carpark above the M2 on Windsor Road.
