With Oakville Cancelled Join one of the PCC Training Rides All Welcome

With Racing at Oakville canceled why not join fellow club members on one of the PCC Saturday morning rides.

Parramatta Park Ride.

 

For new riders wanting to join a cycling club, you can join the Parramatta Park Ride where we have club members who can teach you all you need to know about cycling.

Bring your bike and join us at The Governors Bathhouse in Parramatta Park anytime from 6:30 AM.

We will finish at about 7:45 am and go for Coffee at Social Hideout corner of Victoria Rd and Church St and enjoy the Coffee and Social atmosphere.

Three Groups Moderate 6:10am, Intermediate 6:20, Fast 6:30

Distance: 50km

Approximate return: all bunches 8:10AM

Elevation/terrain: 500m / flat to undulating

Bunches

Start Time: 6:10AM - Average speed 26kph to 28kph. (Moderate)

Meet: Officeworks North Parramatta, corner Church Street and James Ruse Drive

For a steadier “no-drop” pace, join the main group for coffee back at Parramatta.

This ride caters to riders who want to improve their skills and comfort riding in a bunch and anyone who simply wants a moderately paced ride.

Start time: 6.20am - Average speed 30kph to 32kph. (Intermediate) - (implemented during COVID-19 - check availability)

Meet PETBARN 561 - 565 Church Street, North Parramatta opposite By Street.

This group will consist of fit riders who would normally form the second group on the Great Western Highway, Junior riders on restricted gearing, and riders that are able to keep up on the highway but unable to take a turn in the fast group.

Start time: 6:30AM - Average Speed 33 kph + (Fast)

Meet PETBARN 561 - 565 Church Street, North Parramatta opposite By Street.

This group will consist of very fit riders who would normally form the fast group on the Great Western Highway. You should be able to take turns down the highway with this group and be experienced riding at pace in a fast bunch.

Regroup at Parra for a well-earned coffee at Social Hideout.
