The rain has put paid to this weekend's L'Etape cycling event in the Shoalhaven and Southern Highlands.

The event has been cancelled due to the impending weather and safety concerns with up to 200mm of rain predicted on Saturday.
With the decision to cancel only been made this afternoon buses from as far afield as Victoria can been seen rolling into Kiama.
Below are some images of the Village being set up this morning.
