Winter Road Series Grades

There will be 4 Grades for each Winter Series Race

If a rider accumulates more than 30 points (placing only), will be requested to move up a grade.  Any rider moving up a grade will take ½ of their current series points with them.

If a rider is requested to move up a grade but chooses to remain in their current grade, they will no longer be eligible for podium prize money and their placing points going forward will be halved.  They will still however be eligible for over points series prize money.

Entry Fee

Seniors: $20

Juniors: $5

Points Allocations

For each Winter Series Race (excludes handicaps)

1^st 8 points

2^nd 6 points

3^rd 4 points

4^th 2 points

5^th 1 point          

Sign On: 2 points

Individual Race Prize Money

For each grade

1^st $60

2^nd $40

3^rd $20

1^st Unplaced Female $20

1^st Unplaced Junior $20

Winter Series Overall Placing

At the end of the Series all riders will have their total points ranked against each other and the top 10 overall riders will be awarded prizes.  Any riders on equal points will be separated based on podium placings.

The Series Prize Giving will be held on the last race of the series.
