With the advent of the Parramatta Light Rail running along Church Street Parramatta and turning up and down Factory Street North Parramatta a change of start location of the Universe ride has become necessary. After assessment of alternate locations the decision made is to start the ride from outside PETBARN 561 - 565 Church Street, North Parramatta opposite By Street. This is approximately 2 minutes from the current starting location.

(Church Street heading towards Northmead, approximately 50 metres before the lights at Barney Street.)

All other aspects of the ride will remain the same.

Assuming the road rules that now apply to the City of Sydney Light Rail corridor will be applied to the Parramatta light rail, it will be illegal to ride a bicycle along the roads where the light rail system runs. Please consider your route to the starting location and also at the conclusion of the ride and after coffee as Church Street will be illegal to cycle on.
