"On the 15th of March, I challenged myself by racing Grafton to Inverell - the hardest one-day race in NSW. It was an ominous start in the fog as I was battling a cold and got a flat tire on my way to the start line!   

The race lived up to its billing and was one of the hardest rides I've ever completed. I finished 12th in my age category, with many not being able to finish the race. It's a beautiful, well-organized race. Each day that passes, I forget the pain and remember my support crew, the people I rode with, and the iconic scenery."
