AGM Held on Saturday November 23

Twenty three Club Members plus guests attended the AGM.

The President, Paul McDonald presented his welcome & and report for 2024.
The first item was to recognise the Paul Crotty who sadly passed away. Paul was a
dedicated member of PCC. He is remembered for his love of the tough races, his
favourite being Grafton to Inverell.
He thanked the Clubs sponsors, namely Club Parramatta and Lexus of Parramatta
for their support. Paul noted: We have 176 members, our juniors numbers are very
low. In 2024 we had racing at Oakville, we generally had reasonable numbers.
Training has commenced on Monday nights at Merrylands Oval for Youth Off The
Streets,
Michael Merryment presented the financial report – See Attached.
Michael noted the club is in an excellent financial position due to Sponsorship,
affiliations, race entries & interest.
Paul then declared all positions in the Club were vacated and handed over to Phil
Gates for election of president.
The election was conducted & the president was elected unopposed:
Club President – Paul McDonald: Nominated by Stephen Jones and; Seconded by

Bob Madell

Phil handed back to Paul to conduct the election of other roles. The election was
conducted and the office bearers were elected unopposed as outlined below:
Deputy President – Stephen Jones: Nominated by Phil Gates and Seconded by

Bob Madell

Secretary – Matt Crapp: Nominated by Phil Gates and Seconded by Bob Shields.
Note matt was not present at the meeting but had
indicated to Phil Gates that he would accept the roll
Treasurer - Michael Meryment: Nominated by Philip Gates and Seconded by Bob Madell

Dr Philip Lee graciously accepted the invitation to continue as the Club Patron.
