Tandem Pilot Required for Australian Paracycling

I’m one of the coaches of the Aus paracycling team and I also look after our fast track/ talent transfer program.

 We have a new vision impaired cyclist who is transitioning from rowing to tandem cycling who lives in Parramatta and we’re looking to help her find a pilot whom she can train and race locally with. She has her own road tandem and we’re looking to source a track tandem for her also, she would have access to some of the NSWIS riders to train on the track. Is your club in a position to help out in anyway to find someone suitable for her to train with?? They wouldn’t need to be an elite level cyclist and it could be male or female, having ridden on a tandem previously would be preferable but we could work through it if not. The plan was to have someone 2-3 times/ week but some local racing every few weeks. It’s a great opportunity for the right person to be involved in a potential paralympic journey.
