Joshua Brodie has been offered a place in the Western Sydney Academy of sport (WSAS) cycling program.

What got him there?

Last weekend Joshua competed in the NSW State Junior Road cycling championships held in Wagga Wagga.
This event includes 3 races, the road race, the time trial and the criterium.  Joshua won the Gold medal in the under 13's road race and the under 13's time trial.

He is now the NSW state Road race champion for under 13's along with the NSW state Time trial champion for under 13's. Unfortunately due to bad weather the criterium event has been postponed.

On the 12th July 2014  Joshua also competed in the NSW Junior Metropolitan Road Championships in Sutherland where he took the Gold medal. The metro's is a one event championship.

Joshua this week was offered a place into the Western Sydney Academy of sport (WSAS) cycling program, this is a fantastic opportunity for Joshua.

With the end of Road season Joshua now moves up to under 15's for track season and will be competing in the upcoming National Junior track series commencing in October.
